Yes. The United States goes to war with Spain as a result of the Monroe Doctrine in which our sovereignty is violated when the USS Maine is blown up. They are in our sphere of influence and we want their colonies in the Pacific.

Answer: I believe that the United States was justified to invade Cuba due to the war with spain.

Explanation: I think this because if you just had a war, or are having a war with a country you cannot let them have a territory so close to the United states so that they can invade the country.
