A movie theater charges $4.50 for children and $8.00 for

adults
The next day, the manager announces that she wants to see
them take in $10,000 in tickets. If there are 240 seats in the
house and only five movie showings planned that day, is it
possible to meet that goal?

It’s not possible
Because 240 seats times the highest cost which is $8 will be $1920 and if you times that by 5 movies the total will be $9,600. So it’s not possible to make $10,000.
