Instructions to make a dress say that the length of a piece of yellow fabric should be 80 inches more than the length of a piece of black fabric. How long is the length of the yellow fabric if the black fabric is 52 inches long?

I think that the length of the yellow piece of fabric is either 28 inches longer then the black piece of fabric because 52-80=28. Or if you add 80+52 then it will equal 302 inches long
