It is important to celebrate Black History Month because it is giving people their chance to learn where they came from. Some people were stripped from their true roots and forced to make do with what they had. They had to start completely over with nothing and no one. It is important to honor those who built this land and carried it on their backs. There is a lot of hatred in this world and it is important to make those for like their is inequality, whether you have experienced it or not, that they’re equal to one another and their ancestry history is not only acknowledged, but respected.
