What is the effect of the author's word choice in the passage?

Depending on how the author picks their words, It could change the passage tremendously, An authors word choice would/could change the tone and feeling of a article, it could also add elements to the story, enchance readers senses on a topic and even add depth and profound elements in a story.

Hope I helped. :)
