Natural hazard: an extreme event that can cause extreme damage to property, disrupt human activities and cause loss of life e.g. flooding.

Tectonic hazards basically happen when the earths crust moves. For example when the plates move there's friction which can cause them to become stuck and tension builds until the plates release, this leads to an earthquake. weather hazards happen when a regain has certain weather conditions like really heavy rain fall can lead to flooding.

convection currents occur because there's heat rising and falling inside the mantle.
