The maximum number of houses that could be on each street is 17. This means that Elsie usually delivers a total of 119 newspapers and Liam usually 51. If Liam delivers 35 of Elsie’s newspapers then Liam would have delivered a total of 86 newspapers and Elsie would have only delivered 84 which is less than Liam’s.
