Y2+6x when x=3 and y=4

I think the answer is 8+18. 4(2) this means 4x2 which is 8 then we have 6 (3) this means 6x3 which is 18. So how I did this was replace the y with the 4 and made sure to multiply it to the number it’s connected to. Then I did the same white 6x and made sure to multiply the 3 which was given.
