Aiden is working two summer jobs, making $20 per hour lifeguarding and making $6 per hour walking dogs. In a given week, he can work at most 13 total hours and must earn at least $120. If Aiden worked 4 hours walking dogs, determine the minimum number of whole hours lifeguarding that he must work to meet his requirements.

So, we know the total amount of money Aiden has to make is 120$, and he makes 6$ per hour walking dogs. Aiden worked his 4 hours walking dogs, and we know for each hour he walks dog’s he gets paid 6$. So multiply 6 and 4 (6x4), to get 24. We know the amount of money he has to get is 120, so divide 24 by 120 (120/24), to get your final answer 5.
