There is a jar of coins sitting on the table in the center of the room. The jar contains 9 pennies, 12 nickels, 10 dimes, and 5 quarters. The note beside the jar reads: What is the probability of drawing 2 coins from the jar and getting exactly 20 cents?

Answer: 1/14

Explanation:

i was stuck on this question too, but if u do combinations 10C2 because theres only one way to get 20 cents with 2 coins which is the dimes. so there are 10 dimes and 2 picks, so it would be 10C2. then you take the amount of coins you have total (36) and the amount of picks you get (2) and do that combination. 36C2. then divide the answers so it would be 45/630 which equals to 1/14.
