Answer: a.) area is 108 sq feet b) get 7 boxes . C) costs $171.50

Explanation:

we know the area is 4 yards by 3 yards

1 yard is 3 feet

4 yards * 3 feet/yard = 12 feet

3 yards * 3 feet/ yard = 9 feet

Area = 12 ft * 9 ft = 108 sq ft

Part a.) area is 108 sq ft

Part b.) we have one box of tiles to cover 16 sq ft

108 sq ft / 16 sq ft = 6.75 boxes

Get 7 boxes of tiles

Part c.) cost?

Each box of tiles costs $24.50

Total cost = 7 * $24.50 = $171.50
