the lengths of three sides of a triangle are in the ratio 3 : 4 : 5. among three sides, the difference between the largest side and the smallest side of this triangle is 3.6 cm. the area (in cm2 ) of the triangle is:

Answer:

5x - 3x = 3.6

2x = 3.6

x = 1.8

Lengths of sides: 3(1.8) = 5.4 cm

4(1.8) = 7.2 cm

5(1.8) = 9 cm

Area of this triangle = (1/2)(5.4)(7.2)

= 19.44 cm²
