Incidence of drug overdose has indeed become prevalent nowadays. When people are faced with difficult problems and they can no longer bear the problem, this most probably gets them into using and abusing drugs. Psychologists help their patients by understanding their problems, and providing or recommending ways on how to deal with them more efficiently. As their profession, they modify behavioral therapies and promote effective mechanisms that will most benefit and improve their patients !
