Explanation:

you have the graph. it actually shows us the answer directly.

x-intercept means the point where the the line intercepts the x-axis.

you know, the x-axis is the horizontal coordinate axis.

so, the x-intercept is at x = -6.

that makes it the point (-6, 0). because for any point on the x-axis y is always 0.

and now for the y-intercept, which must be on the y-axis (the vertical coordinate axis).

where does the line intercept the y-axis ?

the y-intercept is at y = -6.

that makes it the point (0, -6). because for any point on the y-axis x is always 0.
