(k)/(k + 3) = (2)/(k - 3)


k(k - 3) = 2(k + 3)


{k}^(2) - 3k = 2k + 6


{k}^(2) - 5k - 6


{k}^(2) + k - 6k - 6


k(k + 1) - 6(k + 1)


(k - 6)(k + 1)


therefore \: k1 = 6 \: and \: k2 = - 1
