Which device allows you to enter data and instructions into a computer?

a) Input device ✓

  • Input devices allow us to enter data into a computer .
  • For example : keyboard is used to enter texts as a form of input data .

b) Output device

  • Output devices are the one which allow us to see the result coming from the usage of input of data and could be in the form of text , graphics etc.
  • For example : A monitor shows us the data we have typed using keyboard.

c) ALU

  • Arithmetic logical unit : It's function is to carry out arithmetic and logical operations.

d) CPU

  • Central processing unit : Known as the brain of the computer, it performs all the logical , control, arithmetic , input and output tasks.
