first do the first two in parentheses and go one by one

X times x^2 = x^3

X Times -X = -x^2

X Times 1 = x

Ok now go to one

1 times x^2 = x^2

1 times -x = -x

1 Times 1 = 1

now put them all together

x^3 -x^2 + x + x^2 -x + 1

x^3+1

Now multiply the part after the parentheses, aka “-x^2(x+3)”

After multiplying you should get
-x^3 - 3x^2

Now get your previous answer and put it together with the new one

x^3 + 1 -x^3 - 3x^2

The answer is
-3x^2 + 1
