Can you explain multifactorial in details with examples and different between it and polygenic and pleiotropy

also give an example of epistasis

Answer: The ability of a gene to influence more than one trait is called pleiotropy whereas in polygenic inheritance the inheritance is influenced by a number of independent genes, each having a small and similar effect. The effect of several genes is additive. Pleiotropy is the controlling of multiple traits by a single gene.
