let the length of the congruent legs be x

then given perimeter = 32.7 and base = 9.5

x + x + 9.5 = 32.7

2x + 9.5 = 32.7 ( subtract 9.5 from both sides )

2x = 23.2 ( divide both sides by 2 )

x = 11.6

each of the 2 legs is 11.6 in
