Three boys are running on a circular track in such a way that James is the first to start from the starting line, running on the track and passing by pillars A, B, C, D, E, F counts. The next circle continues John who is counting. After him, Michael continues, counts and they continue running in the same order (James, John, Michael). If they continue running, which boy will say the number and which pillar will he pass

Answer:

The answer to this question depends on how many counts each boy is saying.

Step-by-step explanation:

If James counts 1, John counts 2, and Michael counts 3, then after James passes pillar F, he hands off to John who will say 2 and pass pillar A. After John passes pillar F, he hands off to Michael who will say 3 and pass pillar B. This pattern will continue with James saying 1 and passing pillar C, John saying 2 and passing pillar D, Michael saying 3 and passing pillar E, James saying 1 and passing pillar F again, and so on. However, if the boys are saying different numbers or counting in a different order, the answer may be different.
