where a and b are 2 sides and C the angle between the 2 sides

here let a = 13 , b = x , given A = 26 , then


(1)/(2) × 13 × x × sin30° = 26 [ note sin30° =
(1)/(2) ]

6.5x ×
(1)/(2) = 26 ( multiply both sides by 2 to clear the fraction )

6.5x = 52 ( divide both sides by 6.5 )

x = 8
