Mrs. Nelson is buying bottles of hand sanitizer for her employees. She already has 25 bottles in her office and needs a total of 200 bottles. They are sold in boxes of 20. Write an equation to show how many more boxes of hand sanitizer she needs.

Answer: (200-25)/20

She already has 25 so you’d subtract 25 from 200

You don’t know how many bottles you need yet so that would be x.

X is divided by 20 since it comes in a box of 20.

X=175/20 which would be 8.75 or rounded up to 9
