median = arranging the data in numerical order, then finding middle value.

there are 8 values. we have 4 on one side (124, 126, 128, 130) and 4 on the other (136, 137, 140, 143).

median is halfway between 130 and 136. that is 133.

mean = add up the values/ how many there are

adding them up, you get 1064. there are 8 values.

mean = 1064/8 = 133
