Sandy used a virtual coin toss app to show the results of flipping a coin 80 times, 800 times, and 3,000 times. Explain what most likely happened in Sandy's experiment.

Choice A: Sandy's experimental probability was exactly the same as the theoretical probability for all three experiments.
Choice B: Sandy's experimental probability was closest to the theoretical probability in the experiment with 80 flips.
Choice C: Sandy's experimental probability was closest to the theoretical probability in the experiment with 800 flips.
Choice D: Sandy's experimental probability was closest to the theoretical probability in the experiment with 3,000 flips.

Choice D would be your answer. Sandys experimental probability was closest to 3000 flips when I calculated this out.

As the number of coin flips increases, the experimental probability should get closer and closer to the theoretical probability. This is known as the law of large numbers. Therefore, it is most likely that Sandy's experimental probability was closest to the theoretical probability in the experiment with 3,000 flips, as this is the largest sample size. The correct answer is Choice D: Sandy's experimental probability was closest to the theoretical probability in the experiment with 3,000 flips.
