I made myself a snowball, As perfect as could be. I thought I’d keep it as a pet, And let it sleep with me. I made it some pajamas, And a pillow for its head. Then, last night it ran away. But first – it wet the bed.

Is it a metaphor or simile

A simile

Simile~ this is when it’s comparing things to eachother. An example of this would be “life is like a box of chocolates.” Life is being compared to a box of chocolates.
Metaphor~ this is when people usually say things like “Her eyes are diamonds.” The girls eyes aren’t diamonds, but there being compared to describe the way the eyes shine.
Hope this made sense
