They got a deal for tables and chairs in the shop. 45 tables cost 500 dollars. The deal gave them this same rate on chairs with $750 worth of chairs. How many chairs were purchased?

Answer:

68 (or 67 but I think it's 68)

Explanation:

45 tables is 500 dollars so each table is 11.(1). 750/11.(1) is 67.5 chairs. You cant have half of a chair so it is 68 chairs.
