The perimeter of the triangle AABC is 19.27 m.

Solution:

In order to solve this we first have to create a triangle rectangle, check the image attached to understand it better, and with that we use law of sines in order to calculate the other sides of the triangle:

As you can see we know that the hypothenuse is 8 m, and we have both angles, so for the angle that is opposed to the 50º angle we will use
8cos(50)=5.1423 \ m.

For the side that is opposed to the 40º angle we will use
8cos(40):6.1283m

SO to calculate the perimeter we just add the three sides:

5.1423 + 6.1283 + 8= 19.27

Therefore, The perimeter of the triangle AABC is 19.27 m.
