To form formal commands
1) Take the yo form of the present tense. Comer > como
2) Remove the -o ending of the yo form.
como > com
3) Add the “opposite” vowel ending
ar: e for ud and en for uds
er/ir: a for ud and an for uds

so if it is negative and plural (uds/ustedes), it would be no coman
