Answer:

The atmosphere is the envelope of gases surrounding the Earth or other planet. It contains 78% Nitrogen, 21% Oxygen, 0.9% Argon, and other gases (such as: Carbon Dioxide, Water Vapor, Methane, and Neon) as the remaining 0.1%.
