The total number of students in the school is C. 100.

How can you solve the total number of students in the school?

20% of students are below 8 years old.

The number of students above 8 years old is 2/3 the number of students of 8 years old, which is 48.

Let X be the total number of students in the school.

Number of students below 8 years old = 0.2X.

Number of students above 8 years old = (2/3) * 48 = 32

X = Number of students below 8 years old + Number of students of 8 years old + Number of students above 8 years old

X = 0.2X + 48 + 32

0.8X = 80

X = 100

Therefore, the total number of students in the school is C. 100.
