The 3 pipes working together will fill a tank in T = 3.10 hours

How long will it take them to fill the tank together?

We know that:

Pipe A takes 6 hours.

Pipe B takes 10 hours.

Pipe C takes 18 hours.

Then the total time it would take to fill a tank if the 3 pipes work together is given by T in the equation:

(1/6 + 1/10 + 1/18)*T = 1

T = 1/(1/6 + 1/10 + 1/18)

T = 3.10 hours.
