If you use spray-on deodorant, you can find out how fast it comes out of the

can if you know the relative pressure inside the can. Supposing a full can of

deodorant has an exit velocity (V) of 56 feet per second, use the formula

below to find the relative pressure inside the can (p) in psi (pounds per square

inch):

v=8sqrtp

Help me please !

Answer:

  • 49 psi

Explanation:

Given formula:

  • v = 8√(p)

We know that:

  • v = 56 ft/s

Use the formula and find the value of p:

  • v = 8√(p)

  • v^2 = (8√(p))^2

  • v^2=64p

  • p=v^2/64=56^2/64=49
