To solve this equation, I’d start by adding together my whole numbers two and three which would get me five (2+3=5). Next I’d add my fractions together. 3/4 + 3/4 = 6/4, which when you simplify would equal 1 2/4 or 1/2. Finally I’d add this onto my whole number. 5+1 1/2=6 1/2. Hope this helps ^^

Answer:

6 and a half

Explanation:

2 and 3/4;

3 and 3/4

The denominators are the same so we can start to add.

Add the whole numbers: 2 + 3 = 5

Now add the fractions: 3/4 + 3/4 = 6/4.

6/4 is an improper fraction so we need to convert it to a mixed number:

6 divided by 4 is 1 and 2/4

This can be simplified to 1 and a half.

Add the two parts together: 5 + 1 and a half = 6 and a half
