So lets take the top shape as T1 and the bottom one as T2.

So for T2,

It is a square so the area is side×side

=5×5=25cm²

In T2,

The shape is a rectangle so the area=l×b

the length is not directly given, it is =4+5+5=14cm

Area=14×4

A=56cm²

Now the total area= Area of T1+ Area of T2

= 25+56= 81cm²
