Martin Luther King Jr.‘s main goal in his “I Have a Dream” speech was to fight for racial equality and justice. He really poured his heart into it, using powerful words and repeating key phrases to drive home the importance of his message. The way he built up to that powerful call for freedom and equality was like a crescendo of hope. People felt that deeply. So, I’d say he was pretty successful in making a lasting impact on the civil rights movement.
