Read the following excerpt from The First Men in the Moon then answer the question below.

Exactly as he came against the sun he stopped, pulled out a watch, hesitated. Then with a sort of convulsive gesture he turned and retreated with every manifestation of haste . . .

It describes him as taking a look at his watch and then leaving hastily so I would say “He adheres to a strict schedule”.
