Answer: x=4

Explanation:

Given

2(3x+4)-2x=24

Expand parenthesis

6x+8-2x=24

Combine like terms

4x+8=24

Subtract 8 on both sides

4x+8-8=24-8

4x=16

Divide 4 on both sides

4x/4=16/4

x=4
