58.5 g of iron shot is added to a graduated cylinder containing 95.50 mL of water. The

water level rises to the 115.10 mL mark. From this information, calculate the density of
iron.

the volume of iron is the volume added to the cylinder

=115.1-95.5

=19.6

density equals mass divided by volume

58.5 divided by 19.6

is 2.98 g/ml which is actually 2.98 kg/L also using conversion
