The number of questions that Alex got right would be = 12.

How to determine the number of questions gotten right?

To calculate the questions that where gotten right by Alex, the following steps should be taken as follows:

The total number of questions = 15

The percentage of questions gotten right = 80%

The total number of questions gotten right = x

That is;

if 15 = 100%

x = 80%

make x the subject of formula;

x = 15×80/100

= 1200/100

= 12

Therefore, the number of questions that Alex got right after converting percentage to normal figure would be= 12.
