In a coordinate plane the possible value of y is 1

The plot is attached

How to find the possible values

The distance between two points in the coordinate plane is given by the distance formula:

d =
√((x_2 - x_1)^2 + (y_2 - y_1)^2)

So, the distance formula becomes:

10 =
√((6 - (-2))^2 + (y - 7)^2)

10 =
√(8^2 + (y - 7)^2)

100 = 64 + (y - 7)²

36 = (y - 7)²

y - 7 = ±6

y = 13 or y = 1

Therefore, there are two possible y-values for point N: y = 13 or y = 1.

Point M is located at (-2,7). Point N is located at (6,y). The distance between points-example-1
