Between A and B, the substance is in gaseous form. At E the substance is in transition stage, between liquid and solid.

b) The kinetic energy of the gas is highest at A. At its highest temperature. KE is function of temperature.

c) E, the entropy of the liquid is at lowest.

d) Between D and E the liquid particles have the highest potential energy. The Extra heat removed from the substance merely results in intermolecular bonds formation. The temperature remain constant in this region.
