Psychology

People perceive things in the world a certain way because of past experiences and other factors, such as beliefs and culture. This initial perception is called a perceptual set.
Review the images below and note your first impressions of each. Write a response describing your perception of one of the images and the possible reasons for that perception. Consider these questions as you reflect:

- Which image did you choose?
- What was your initial perception of the image?
- What experiences or expectations do you think influenced that initial perception?
- How might someone else perceive the image?

Answer:

1- First image.

2- At first glance it appeared to me as two cats that are inlove.

3- I relate more to cats and have a strong obsession to them.

4- Others might see it as the front face of a dog.

Explaination:

Just choose one of the images and write down what you saw at first.

Then write a reason for why you saw it like that for eg. why you saw it a cat rather than a dog.

Lastly say how might others see that same image but in a different way.
