(Open Ended) Describe a general method for adding a decimal with two decimal places to a decimal with three decimal places. Give an example.

Answer:

I think you could just add a zero onto the end of the two digit decimal, assuming it's not a decimal that continuously repeats, but is just like 2.25 or something like that. So to add 3.184 to 2.25, you would ads a 0 to the 2.25, making it 2.250.
