Answer: Chromosomal behavior refers to the routine movement of chromosomes during cell division. During mitosis, chromosomes that are replicated align themselves along the equator of the cell to create a metaphase plate. After that, sister chromatids are pulled apart towards the opposite poles of the cells.

And when the chromosomes are condensing to undergo mitosis, the centrioles form the areas that the mitotic spindle forms. And those mitotic spindles go and attach to each of the chromosomes and pull the chromosomes to opposite ends of the cell to allow cytokinesis, then, to occur.
