Given :-

  • A right angled triangle with hypotenuse= 7m and base= 5m .

To find:-

  • The angle x .

Answer:-

Here we will make use of trigonometric ratios.In a right angled triangle,

\implies \cos\theta =(base)/(hypotenuse)\\

And here,

\implies \theta = x \\

So,

\implies \cos\ x =(b)/(h)\\

And here ,

  • b = 5

  • h = 7

so on substituting the respective values,we have;

\implies \cos x =(5)/(7) \\

\implies x = \cos^(-1)\bigg((5)/(7)\bigg)\\

\implies \underline{\underline{ x = 44.42^\circ }} \\

And we are done!
