Explanation: the 1848 revolutions were unsuccessful however they forced the monarchs to change the way that they led their countries. France for example deposed their king and put Napoleon III in charge. these revolutions were led by mostly liberal leaders, however after the revolutions there was widespread disillusionment within their party. Conservative monarchists also had to rework how they ruled their countries, for example, France becoming a republic.
