Alright, so assuming that "x" in this equation means multiplication you would solve this using PEMDAS. PEMDAS is basically the order in which you solve everything so first is parentheses, then exponent, then multiplication and division and then addition and subtraction.

So lets go to the first parentheses- (2x3 + 3x4):

Inside the parentheses we should use PEMDAS. This means that we perform multiplication first.

It should now look like this: (6+12)

Next you just add so now the whole thing is (18)(1/9)

It is important to note that (1/9) is the same as the fraction one ninths. Next you just perform multiplication of fractions so now it should be 18/9 which simplifies to 2.
