Which expression is equivalent to 8x-12y+32?
16(0.5x-4y+32)
16(0.5x-0.75y+32)
16(0.5x-0.75y+2)
16(0.5x+4y+2)

Answer: 16(0.5 - 0.75 + 2)

Parentheses is a way to represent multiplication. So you have to multiply 16 with all of the numbers inside the parentheses. After multiplying, the parentheses should be removed since you aren’t multiplying it with anything anymore. I’m not the best at explaining but I hope it helped.
