When a body is moving in physics because of a steady force and then the force stops having an effect on the body, what kind of movement does the body do? Does it move with a steady velocity?

The body will continue to move with a constant velocity in the direction of the force applied, as long as no other forces act upon it. This type of motion is called uniform motion or rectilinear motion.
