so the slope will be the diff b/w ys and then divided by diff of x's

so 5-3=2 is the diff of y

6-2=4 is the diff of x

divide 2/4 = 1/2 so the slope is 1/2

then you know the equation would be something like y=1/2 x but then you need to decide the intercept

1/2 of x when x=6 is 3, but Y =5

so you know the intercept is 2..

so the linear f(x) would be y=1/2x+2
